After taking down the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12, Drake Maye and the New England Patriots are turning their attention to their upcoming Week 13 matchup with the New York Giants. With the team having a shot to win its 10th straight game, you can bet they will be fired up for this contest.

Across the league, players will be participating in the “My Cause My Cleats” movement in Week 13. The program allows players to highlight causes off the field that are important to them with unique cleat designs that typically would not be allowed by the NFL.

Maye will be taking part in the event, using it as an opportunity to show his support for Team Massachusetts before the upcoming 2026 Special Olympics. After unveiling his new cleats, Maye revealed what working with Special Olympics means to him.

“It’s been an honor for me to represent Special Olympics,” Maye said in a video posted on the team’s X account. “Just having a chance for (the athletes) to showcase their abilities and know that there are a lot of people that enjoy sharing fun moments with them and cheering them on and pulling for them in the long run, I think that’s one of the best things about it.”

Back during training camp, Maye worked with Team Massachusetts during one of their practices, which served as the inspiration behind the design of his cleats. Maye has continued to get more and more involved in Special Olympics, and it’s clear he enjoys the work he does with the program.

On the field, New England has emerged as a powerhouse in the AFC, thanks in large part to the play of Maye under center. The Pats will look to push their record to 11-2 when they square off against the Giants on Monday Night Football next week.
