The Baltimore Ravens have a notable injury situation to monitor before Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.

Baltimore added Kyle Hamilton to Friday’s injury report, listing the All-Pro safety as questionable with an ankle injury. He was a limited participant on Friday after fully practicing all week.

Hamilton has anchored Baltimore’s defense ever since joining the team as the No. 14 pick in 2022. The former Notre Dame star has 87 tackles, two forced fumbles and a sack this season, playing 98 percent of the defense’s snaps when active.

Hamilton missed one game earlier this year because of a groin injury. Without the two-time Pro Bowler, the short-handed Ravens allowed 417 yards in a 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Baltimore’s defense hasn’t played to its usual standards this season, ranking 23rd with 344.4 yards allowed per game. The 7-7 Ravens have relinquished 22.9 points per game after shutting out Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15, but they remain in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in Hamilton’s career.

John Harbaugh’s Ravens trail the Pittsburgh Steelers by one game atop the AFC North. They’ll seek a win in their final home game of the regular season before closing their schedule at Green Bay and Pittsburgh.

The Patriots also face several health concerns on defense. Along with ruling out Robert Spillane, they listed Harold Landry III, Marcus Jones, Carlton Davis III and Christian Barmore as questionable for Sunday night’s game.
