Good morning! Bobby Dalbec, the Red Sox once and future first baseman, is out of Major League Baseball. After playing in just seven games with the White Sox last year, Dalbec signed a one-year deal with the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants, one of the most successful and famous clubs in the sport.

Nippon Professional Baseball is going through something of a deadball period right now. But, still, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him put up some big home run numbers on the other side of the Pacific. It helps that he’s always seemed like the type of thoughtful and intelligent player who would enjoy a stint overseas as opposed to viewing it as a career-ender.

Talk about what you want, wish Bobby Bombs good luck, and be good to one another.
