One of the biggest stories of this upcoming NFL offseason will be what quarterback Aaron Rodgers decides about his future.

Rodgers turned 42 on Dec. 2, and there’s a possibility he might retire at the end of this season. However, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski believes that Rodgers will return for one more season.

“I think he does come back for one more year after this,” Gronkowski said Wednesday on “Up & Adams”.

Rodgers is in 21st NFL season and first with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 15 games this season, Rodgers has thrown for 3,028 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The 42-year-old quarterback isn’t currently under contract for the upcoming season, but the Steelers might consider re-signing Rodgers. The best approach for Pittsburgh moving forward would be to encourage Rodgers to return for one more season while also focusing on drafting a rookie quarterback early in the 2026 NFL Draft to learn behind him.

Pittsburgh will go head-to-head against the Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football” to determine who will clinch the AFC North title and secure a home playoff game next weekend.
