FOXBORO — Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis practiced in a non-contact jersey Wednesday, indicating he has made enough progress in the NFL’s concussion protocol that he could have a chance to play in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

Davis was ruled out late in the Patriots’ divisional-round win over the Texans last weekend. If he can play against the Broncos, the Pats could build on perhaps their best defensive performance of the season, where Davis recorded two of the team’s four interceptions. They also finished with a team-high 14 pass breakups and three sacks.

On Wednesday, the Patriots practiced without tight end Hunter Henry, right tackle Morgan Moses, outside linebacker Harold Landry, inside linebacker Christian Elliss and backup offensive lineman Thayer Munford Jr. Henry, Moses, Landry and Munford have all missed practices in recent weeks before being cleared for game action.

Fourth-round rookie defensive tackle Joshua Farmer and backup running back Terrell Jennings also practiced. Farmer has been out for several weeks on injured reserve. One or both players could be activated in time for kickoff Sunday, while wide receiver Mack Hollins (abdomen) remains on injured reserve and has yet to take the field since a win at Baltimore on Dec. 21.

The Patriots will release their first injury report Wednesday evening.
