    In Holbrook’s dramatic 53-52 nonleague victory over East Bridgewater, two Bulldogs hit major milestones. Allen Brown eclipsed the 2,000 career-point mark in the third quarter while Odens Massillon eclipsed the 1,000 career-point mark. Both players finished the matchup with 22 points as Holbrook improved to 13-1 on the season.

    In other boys basketball action, Ryan Mutschler scored 22 points and added five rebounds while Cole Madden contributed 16 points to lead Hanover to a 64-47 Patriot League Fisher victory. This helped the Hawks extend their winning streak to 14, which is the program’s longest since its 2017 state title team.

    Kingston Maxwell (25 points, 11 rebounds, three steals), Tyler Staiti (20 points) and Jake Tikinoff (12 points) broke into double figures for Abington (11-5) in a 66-58 South Shore League win over Carver.

    Liam Powers and Jake Heller Bottari scored 18 points each to propel Mystic Valley to a 77-56 Commonwealth Athletic Conference victory over Northeast. … Mason Nieves (14 points) and Javon Phom (13 points) paced Greater Lowell in a 58-53 win over Whittier.

    Liam MacPhee (23 points), Weston Bunnell (20 points), Mason Lord (19 points) and Tony Dean (11 points) delivered double-digit performances to power Stoneham (9-6) past Wakefield 75-46 in the Middlesex League.

    Michael Marcella erupted for 30 points as Pembroke edged North Quincy 56-55 in a Patriot League matchup.

    Jadon Beatty put up 15 points, while Bobby Louis contributed 11 points as Archbishop Williams (9-5) defeated Arlington Catholic 60-57 in the Catholic Central League.

    Girls basketball

    Naya Annigeri eclipsed 1,000 career points as Medfield (16-0) secured the Tri-Valley League Small title with an 83-31 win over Norton. … Izzy Morgan scored 11 points as Norwood rolled to a 75-34 win over Ashland.

    Avery Gamble (18 points, five rebounds) and Maeve Horsman (12 points, 14 rebounds) guided Oliver Ames in a 42-26 Hockomock League win over Mansfield. … Adrianna Porazzo (16 points), Alaysia Drummonds (15 points) and Rhianna Rice (10 points, 10 rebounds) fueled Foxboro to a 62-24 win over Canton.

    In the Merrimack Valley Conference, Kaylee Maier tallied 19 points to propel Dracut to a 56-47 victory over Tewksbury.
