    Brooke Moreno scored a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal, in Dedham’s 5-4 overtime victory over Mansfield/Oliver Ames/Foxboro.

    Elsewhere in high school girls hockey, Reese Ferrara scored twice and added an assist as Winthrop defeated Masconomet, 4-1, in nonleague action.

    Georgia Murray had a goal, two assists and eclipsed 100 career points in Bishop Feehan’s 4-2 Catholic Central League victory over St. Mary’s (L).

    In the MVC/DCL, Molly Boyden has two tallies as Central Catholic doubled up Concord-Carlisle, 4-2.

    Boys hockey

    Ryan MacDonald put together a five-point outing with four goals and one assist to power Weymouth to a 7-2 Bay State Conference win over Needham. Ryan Ferguson also collected five points in the win with two goals and three assists.

    In the Middlesex League, Kamden Greatorex recorded two goals and one assist while Nate Vitarisi dished out three assists as Reading blanked Belmont, 5-0.

    Westwood defeated Hopkinton, 1-0, to clinch a Tri-Valley League title and a spot in the state tournament for a 43rd consecutive season.

    After losing to Arlington Catholic on Friday night, St. Mary’s bounced back the next afternoon as Joseph Mongielo, Geo Capo and Aiden St. Pierre scored to lead the Spartans to a 3-1 Catholic Central League victory over Bishop Feehan.

    Class notes

    Nobles junior Izzy Kittredge announced on social media her commitment to Brown to continue her basketball career. Kittredge, a 2025 Herald All-Scholastic, is in her first season at Nobles after winning two state titles on the hardwood with Medfield and another one in lacrosse.
