The Patriots made two more future signings on Wednesday afternoon.

The team announced they’ve signed running back Elijah Mitchell and offensive tackle Sebastian Gutierrez to future deals.

Mitchell, 27, spent parts of December and January on the Patriots’ practice squad. The veteran running back has 1,523 career rushing yards on 327 carries with nine touchdowns. He’s also caught 28 passes for 158 yards with one score since entering the NFL in 2021. He hasn’t received a carry or reception since 2023.

Gutierrez, 27, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He’s spent time with the Broncos, Raiders, Chiefs, Browns and Colts. This is his fourth stint with the Patriots.

The Patriots signed G Mehki Butler, LB Amari Gainer, WR John Jiles, TE Marshall Lang, T Lorenz Metz, DT Jeremiah Pharms Jr., LB Otis Reese, G Andrew Rupcich, S John Saunders Jr., DL Leonard Taylor III and WR Jeremiah Webb to future deals on Wednesday. All 11 of those players finished the 2025 season with the Patriots.
