The Boston Celtics didn’t have Jaylen Brown on Friday night due to injury, but they were still able to grind out a win against a red-hot Atlanta Hawks team thanks to Payton Pritchard.

The veteran guard provided a spark off the bench with 36 points — his second-highest scoring total in a game this season. Jayson Tatum didn’t shoot particularly well, but he finished with a season-high 26 points, along with 12 rebounds and five assists.Twenty-one of those 26 points came in the second half.

These two teams will meet again in just three days in Atlanta. It’ll be the second matchup of a four-game road trip for the C’s.
