For the first time since September 2022, the Boston Red Sox have lost six games in a row. The Sox were struck out eight times, and outhit 16-4 in a 9-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night.
For the third time in a week, the Red Sox pitching staff have issued eight walks in a game. The heavy usage of the bullpen has started to wear down the available pitchers, and the offense has been unable to cover for them.
