Nathaniel Lowe officially became a member of the Red Sox Monday, but his debut will have to wait another day.
With left-hander Trevor Rogers on the mound for the visiting Baltimore Orioles, Lowe isn’t in the Red Sox starting lineup for the series opener.
Nor is Roman Anthony batting leadoff. Instead, Nate Eaton, recalled Monday from Triple-A, will serve as both leadoff and designated hitter. Anthony will bat second, Alex Bregman third.
