    In a Bay State League boys soccer matchup, Kenny Correa scored a goal with 20 seconds remaining in the game as Framingham blanked Natick 1-0.

    In a Greater Boston League game, Lucas Gomes scored the lone goal assisted by Hector Alvarado Bermudez as Somerville defeated Chelsea 1-0. … In the Patriot League, James McDermod finished with a goal and a pair of assists as Hanover blanked North Quincy, 3-0.

    Gabriel Soave tallied a hat trick to lead Greater Lowell to a 5-0 shutout over Greater Lawrence in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.

    In a Catholic Central League game, Owen Beeney and Garrison Murphy each finished with two assists while Matt Droggitis recorded six saves as St. John’s Prep blanked Catholic Memorial, 5-0.

    Girls soccer

    In the Tri-Valley League, Emily Bonsall had two goals as Dedham took down Norwood 4-1.

    In Cape Ann League action, Reilly Tassinari recorded four points (two goals, two assists) and Kiersten Higgins added three points (two goals, one assist) to lead North Reading to a 5-1 victory over Triton.

    Lucy Irwin and Sarah Tressler netted a goal each as Central Catholic defeated Chelmsford 2-0 in the Merrimack Valley Conference.

    Field hockey

    In the Catholic Central League, senior captain Jordi Higgins collected two goals and an assist as Bishop Feehan (2-1) blanked Bishop Stang 4-0.  … Shea Mason (two goals), Alex Kohalmi (one goal), Sophie Cooke (one goal, two assists) led Bishop Fenwick to a 4-0 victory over Arlington Catholic.

    Ruby Martin scored both tallies as Apponequet (1-0-2) upended South Coast Conference opponent Dighton-Rehoboth 2-0. … Maura Richardson, Emma Cookson, and Riley Doherty all tallied a goal and Jenna Porras added a pair of assists as Case defeated Seekonk, 3-1.

    In a nonleague game, Aisling Mograss scored a goal and added two assists as Barnstable defeated Falmouth, 3-1.

    Volleyball

    In the Hockomock League, Taylor Donohue notched 14 kills as Oliver Ames swept King Philip 3-0.

    Lizzy Bettencourt had 20 kills to propel Peabody to a 3-1 victory over Masconomet in the Northeastern Conference.
