    Brady McCormack rushed for four touchdowns to power Medfield toward a 50-21 nonleague football win over Dracut.

    Rowan Merryman and Tyren Houen scored two touchdowns each as St. Mary’s (Lynn) rolled to a 34-0 win over KIPP. … Jonas Ala caught a touchdown pass and ran for a score as Quincy cruised to a 39-0 victory over Braintree.

    Marvelous Pleasant rushed for over 100 yards and two touchdowns to pace Rockland (1-0) to a 21-8 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.

    Boys soccer

    Freshman Owen Collins from Arlington Catholic scored two goals against Burlington to lead Cougars to 2-1 nonleague victory….. Drew Pavao netted a hat trick, while Owen Borges scored twice as Case rolled to an 11-0 rout of Tri-County.

    Carter Couto converted from the penalty spot, and Austin Raposo scored an unassisted goal as Westport (2-0-0) edged Diman 2-1 in the Mayflower Athletic Conference.

    Girls soccer

    Sydney Briguiere and Leah Thomson found the back of the net in Martha’s Vineyard’s 2-1 Cape and Islands League victory over St. John Paul II.

    Victoria Cerbone (two goals), Maggie Blosser (assist), Violet Malinowski, Ella Cammarata and Sophie Nelson (assist) scored for Masconomet in a 6-1 Northeastern Conference rout of Saugus.

    Field hockey

    Olivia Wilson struck for four goals, and Riley Lombard scored as well for Newburyport in a 5-0 nonleague win over Central Catholic. … Ciara Maloney, Sophia Nielsen and Sydney Coyle scored for Medway in a 3-0 win over Auburn.

    Scarlett Mirak notched a hat trick, and Abby Ruhmann, Lizzy Sproule (first varsity goal) and freshman Bridget Fivek (first varsity goal) added goals of their own as Concord-Carlisle (3- defeated Chelmsford, 6-1.

    Alyssa Charlebois netted the winning goal with just under two minutes left to lift Marshfield to a 1-0 victory over Plymouth South in the Patriot League…..Alexis Llewellyn and Abby Nash secured late goals to lift Whitman-Hanson to comeback victory over Plymouth North…

    Sam Ruddick and Libby Baxer each scored twice in Hingham’s 6-3 win Patriot League win over Scituate. … Grace Gilligan scored the lone goal off an offensive corner, and Lucy Thibeault denied a breakaway opportunity with seconds to play as Hanover (3-1) edged Duxbury, 1-0. Katelyn O’Connor scored three goals and Sophia Setouhi scored two in Watertown’s match against Wilmington. Watertown is 4-0.

    Golf

    Joe DaCosta shot an even par 35, while Cam Melone shot a 38 as Hanover (6-2) edged Whitman-Hanson 238-241 in a Patriot League matchup.

    Gavin Walsh shot a 33 for 42 points as Bishop Feehan bested Archbishop Williams 219-173 in the Catholic Central League.

    Volleyball

    Lyla McDonough (15 assists, 4 aces), Theresa Kavolius (10 assists) and Chelsea Raymond (10 kills) led the way in Oliver Ames’ 3-0 Hockomock League victory over Foxboro.

    Ilaisha Taveras collected 15 service points, 13 aces and 10 digs as Greater Lawrence (4-0) defeated Notre Dame (Tyngsboro) 3-0 in a nonleague match. … Julie Hall finished with 11 kills, while Sydney Faria had nine kills as Central Catholic swept Bishop Fenwick, 3-0. … Victoria Reposa and Charlie Ballestas floored 10 kills each for Reading (4-1) in a 3-0 victory over Hamilton-Wenham.
