    In an Independent School League football game, Rory Funke threw for 192 yards with two touchdowns and added a pair of scores on the ground to lead Dexter Southfield past Hotchkiss, 41-7.

    Burke Lombardi threw three touchdown passes with Joao Silva catching a pair as Nantucket rolled over Blackstone Valley 41-6.

    Boys soccer

    In nonleague action, Ryan King scored twice off assists from Matt LeBlanc and James Minor to lead St. John’s (P) past Longmeadow, 2-0. … Nathan Oliveira and Mason Deneault both finished with a goal as Somerset Berkley blanked North Attleboro, 2-0.

    Ryan Lopes scored the lone tally and Jack Gaude recorded his fourth shutout as Framingham (3-0-4) defeated Lexington 1-0. … Mac Dyment had two goals as Norwell edged Dover-Sherborn 3-2.

    Girls soccer

    Lilly Githitu and Talia Lowney each scored twice as Greater Lowell (3-2-1) won 7-0 over nonleague opponent Lowell. … Myah Johnson had two goals as Nantucket rallied to take down Abington 4-2. … Kesley Tuttle had two goals and Hannah Morse collected two goals and an assist as Norwell won 4-1 over Dover-Sherborn.

    Field hockey

    In nonleague action, Ava Lucenta scored twice as Franklin (8-0-1) blanked Natick 4-0.
