The Celtics are exercising Scheierman’s $2.74 million team option for the 2026-27 season, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported Thursday. Boston had until Friday to make a decision on Scheierman’s 2026-27 option. He has another club option for the 2027-28 season (with a deadline of Oct. 31, 2026) before hitting restricted free agency in 2028.
