FOXBORO — The Patriots will be down at least one defensive starter in Baltimore this weekend.

Outside linebacker Harold Landry (knee), defensive tackle Christian Barmore (not injury related) and cornerbacks Carlton Davis (hip) and Marcus Jones (knee) are all officially questionable for Sunday night’s game. Jones and Davis told reporters after Friday’s practice they intend to play, while inside linebacker and captain Robert Spillane is out with an ankle injury.

In Spillane’s place, the Patriots are expected to again start veteran backup Jack Gibbens, who had nine tackles and a sack last weekend versus Buffalo.

“We ask everybody to prepare as starters. That’s something that’s important. And so, (Gibbens) will start in there, and then different guys will play, packages and everything else,” Pats coach Mike Vrabel said Friday.

Barmore is questionable after not practicing Friday. The team has managed his workload since the summer after he endured two bouts of blood clot-related symptoms last year.

Landry has also been limited in recent weeks due to a lingering knee injury. He has often missed practice on Wednesday, then played in games the following Sunday. The Patriots will need Landry and Barmore if they intend to fix their run defense against a Derrick Henry-led rushing attack.

In Baltimore, the Ravens listed star safety Kyle Hamilton as questionable. Hamilton popped up with a new ankle injury on Friday, which limited his participation in Friday’s practice. On Wednesday, Vrabel called him one of the best players in football.

“I think Kyle Hamilton is one of the best players in this league just from a versatility standpoint and what he can do at the line of scrimmage, covering,” Vrabel said. “I mean, 34 career (pass breakups), 8 career sacks, plays nickel(back), plays safety, plays dime linebacker. So, the versatility there is impressive. The playmaking ability is impressive.”

Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee/ankle) is also questionable, while quarterback Lamar Jackson has been cleared after dealing with an illness earlier this week.
