Halftime, 60-58 Sixers: What a half from the Celtics’ bench guys and deeper bench guys, who kept pace and stayed competitive with a lineup full of 76ers starters.
LeBron, Jaylen and Maxey all turned it on in the second quarter to give Philly a lead, but the “second unit” led by Garza and Gonzalez got the Celtics back into the game. Gonzalez has a game-high 15 points at the break, along with four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
The Celtics’ hustle has shown up on the offensive glass, too, as Boston had 10 offensive rebounds in the half. Garza led the way with four of those, which is more than Philly had as a team (3).
