Whaddya know, the Red Sox are trying to avoid a sweep against the Angels again! And today Richard (aka Dick) Fitts returns to the mound after his stint on the IL. If he’s bad or mid, the Sox bats will need to support him, which they weren’t able to do for Crochet yesterday. Angel Stadium doesn’t have a Pesky Pole for Ceddane Rafaela to get a clutch homer off of, so the Sox will have to figure out another way to win.
Fun fact: I am currently in Nova Scotia and can barely believe that there is a place more Northeast than New England. I’m an hour ahead of EST and I’ve had to stay up extra late to watch/follow these past few west coast games. I’m starting to empathize with the international Sox fans. International fans of west coast baseball teams really have it tough.
