    In the Div. 3 quarterfinals, No. 12 Greater Lawrence (17-7) held defending state champion No. 13 Norwell to nine second-half points as the Reggies rolled to a 57-27 boys basketball victory.

    Sam Brigham’s 33 points powered No. 2 Pope Francis to a 68-56 win over No. 7 Oliver Ames in the Div. 2 quarterfinals. … Javi Lopez scored 21 points, Elkin Pena added 20 points to lead No. 1 Central Catholic to a narrow 55-53 victory over No. 9 Beverly in the Div. 1 quarterfinals.

    Ryan Mutschler led with 28, Cole Madden added 17 points and Sebastian Brown contributed 14 points in Hanover’s 65-40 Div. 3 quarterfinal win over Medfield.

    Boys hockey

    Will Manchuso scored two goals to help St. Mark’s claim a 7-3 victory over Kimball Union and head to the NEPSAC Elite Championship game. The Lions will face Avon Old Farms, who defeated Dexter Southfield in the first round, in the title game.

    Girls hockey

    Jaelynn Trudell scored two goals to lead Groton to a 2-0 win over St. Mark’s in the NEPSAC Small semifinals. The Zebras will face New Hampton in the championship game.
