The Boston Celtics outlasted the Phoenix Suns in a back-and-forth Monday night showdown at TD Garden, 120-112.
Jaylen Brown dropped a game-high 41 points to lead the C’s to victory. Jayson Tatum finished with 21 points in 32 minutes.
Derrick White (21 points) and Payton Pritchard (19 points) both made five 3-pointers to help the C’s shoot 17-for-40 (43 percent) from deep.
Devin Booker scored a team-high 40 points in a losing effort for Phoenix.
