    What to Know

    • Tune into Celtics Postgame Live after the final buzzer as our crew breaks down the game.
    • The Celtics (3-4) had their three-game win streak snapped.
    • Kevin Durant lead all scorers with 26 points (8-for-11 from field).
    • Payton Pritchard finished with a team-high 14 points for the Celtics.
    • The C’s host the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

The Celtics suffered their biggest blowout loss of the season as the Rockets earned a 128-101 victory at TD Garden on Saturday night.

It seemingly was a combination of things.

There’s no denying Kevin Durant and the Rockets are a good basketball team despite the .500 record they entered with. Houston led the league in offensive rating (125.2) and points scored (127.8) before facing Boston and likely maintained those statistical leads. After shooting 55 percent from the field (42-for-77), Durant and company certainly looked like an offense deserving of them.

There’s also no denying the Celtics, playing on the second night of a back-to-back and having played five games in the last seven nights, were moving a tick slower. It looked like the Green were stuck in mud, analyst Brian Scalabrine summarized. Meanwhile, Houston took the hardwood after three days off.

The Rockets are good. The Celtics looked sluggish. Both things can be true.

Here’s everything you need to know in our Celtics-Rockets recap:
