Talk about good timing: Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s beloved baby daughter was born earlier this month, just in time for dad to spend quality time with his little girl before reporting to San Francisco 49ers training camp next week

Culpo, 33, and the 49ers running back, 29, confirmed the birth of Colette Annalise McCaffrey on Instagram Monday, with a heart emoji and a carousel of photos. On Instagram Stories, Culpo praised her NFL star husband, saying, “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world.”

Sharing a photo of McCaffrey tending to baby Colette, Culpo also wrote:  “A love like no other.” Her husband reciprocated with a photo of his own on Instagram Stories, showing him holding Colette. “Luckiest man on the planet,” he wrote. “I love you @OliviaCulpo.”

On Instagram Stories, the former Miss Universe also revealed she underwent a C-section to deliver her baby. She said on Instagram Stories that the surgery was was “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”

“As soon as (Christian) came into the room, I felt most at peace,” Culpo also wrote, joking that she had a tight “grip” on his arm.

Culpo and McCaffrey were first romantically linked as early as May 2019, then got engaged in 2023. They married in June 2024 in a lavish wedding in Culpo’s native Rhode Island. The wedding was covered by Vogue magazine, with Culpo modeling a traditional, custom Dolce & Gabbana gown, with a 16-foot lace veil, for the ceremony. She followed up by wearing at least two other dazzling outfits for the dinner and reception.

In March, Culpo announced she and her husband were expecting their first child together. “Next chapter, motherhood,” she captioned photos from her maternity photo shoot.
