Devers, who was traded from one coast to another just six days prior, smoked a Brayan Bello fastball into the opposite-field bleachers at Oracle Park. It’s something everyone in the opposing dugout had celebrated many times before, but not this time.

Devers has been good, if not unremarkable, through his first week with San Francisco. The Giants have already enjoyed some timely moments, however, with this being just the latest in what you can expect to be a long line of them.
