    Fresh off a probably overdue (but sad) loss to the Yankees, the Sox trundled down I-95 to face the Orioles. They won, 4-3, in a tight game that was pretty much held down by the bullpen start, with one notable exception. The boys came through on offense, which is the best part. Giddyup.

    Led off with a home run. We tend to look kindly on that sort of thing.

    He gave up a leadoff double in the bottom of the eighth, and things looked bad. All he did after that was strike out the side on some big boy shit. That’s what’s up.

    Was the weak link in the bullpen game strategy. On the one hand, you expect someone will be. On the other, it still stinks.

    0-4? Don’t love it. Tho he made a nasty defensive play in the ninth which should render this unfair, I just don’t to retype it. He stays.

    Ditto, minus the defensive play part.

    I’d love to choose the Whitlock strikeout sequence, but there’s only one choice:
