If it was a regular-season game, it likely would’ve been the ugliest loss of the season for the Boston Celtics. If Jaylen Brown and Derrick White took the floor, it likely would have been viewed differently, too.
Then again, if those Celtics stars did play, or if the game’s starters weren’t resting in the final minutes, maybe it wouldn’t have happened.
But it did, as the Celtics relinquished a 27-point lead en route to a 107-105 loss to the Raptors at Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.
