The New England Patriots will play at home next Sunday for the first time since they beat the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 28.

Wide receiver DeMario Douglas can’t wait to get in front of the home fans for the first time in almost a month.

“I know the energy’s gonna be out the roof,” Douglas said on Sunday, via 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Alex Barth. “Our fans man, we have some good fans. We have some great fans. I can’t wait. There’s nothing better than at home.”

New England wrapped up its three consecutive road games with a solid victory, defeating the Tennessee Titans 31-13 on Sunday.

Playing three consecutive games on the road never poses an easy challenge for any NFL team, especially for a relatively young Patriots squad. However, they won three straight, including one against the Buffalo Bills.

New England has dominated away games, boasting an impressive 4-0 record, while struggling at home, where they’ve gone 1-2. This Sunday, the Patriots will take on the Cleveland Browns, a team that has yet to secure a road win this season.
