FOXBORO — The Patriots’ offense has taken a major leap this season thanks to the contributions of quarterback Drake Maye and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, but their running game remained inconsistent throughout most of the year. In recent weeks, that’s changed. Since Week 13, the Patriots rank third in EPA per rush and fifth in rushing success rate. That’s been a major shift, since they ranked 30th in rush EPA and 30th in rushing success rate through the first 12 weeks of the season. “I think we’re always trying to improve it, and we’ve made progress, definitely,” McDaniels said Thursday.…

The New England Patriots made a series of roster moves Thursday. New England announced that defensive back Kobee Minor was signed to the active roster from the practice squad, while defensive back Miles Battle and offensive lineman Brenden Jaimes were signed to the practice squad after previously being released from the active roster on Dec. 29. Minor, 23, was the final pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, and spent the majority of the season on the practice squad while being utilized as a gameday roster elevation three times — finishing with one total tackle across games against the Miami Dolphins…

FOXBORO — A fierce debate is raging for NFL MVP, with one more week for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Rams QB Matthew Stafford to make their cases to voters.
