The Boston Celtics pulled off a gutsy 119-109 victory over the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in Wednesday night’s showdown at TD Garden.
Boston overcame an early 13-point deficit and outscored OKC 99-78 after the first quarter. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum combined for 50 points, 20 rebounds, 15 assists, and five steals to lead the way against the reigning NBA champions.
The Celtics snapped the Thunder’s 12-game win streak, and they’ll look to slow down another one of the league’s hottest teams when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
