Tonight, he gets an opponent on the other end of the spectrum in the Arizona Diamondbacks, who excel against southpaws. Fortunately, it isn’t Paul Skenes on the mound opposite him; it’s old friend Eduardo Rodriguez. Eddy is in the middle of a difficult season with a 5.40 ERA in 24 starts. He’ll give the Dbacks five innings and hand it off to the bullpen, most likely. Fortunately, the Arizona bullpen isn’t very strong. On the season, they rank 26th in bullpen ERA.
