In one of the most uninspiring pitching match ups you’ll find between two clubs occupying playoff spots in August, Dustin May will toe the rubber for the Sox while Spencer Arrighetti takes the mound for the Astros. The combined ERA between these two is 12.36, which is to say, if you’re going to the game tonight and sitting in the Crawford boxes, bring your glove!

Offensively, the Sox will be featuring a lineup that’s guaranteed to annoy me because Ceddanne Rafaela is back at second base, which I find repulsive given he’s the best defensive centerfielder in the American League and there’s a guy on the mound who is almost sure to give up loud contact. Alas, the deepest lineup the Sox can muster right now against a righty better have their hitting shoes on tonight!
