The Boston Celtics gave up a 10-point lead late in the fourth quarter, but they held on for a 130-126 win in double overtime against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Friday night.
It was Boston’s first OT game of the season.
Rookie forward Hugo Gonzalez hit a clutch 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left in the first overtime to force a second extra period.
Payton Pritchard led the Celtics with 32 points. He stepped up in a major way with Derrick White not in the lineup. Jaylen Brown had a triple-double with 27 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
