The Boston Celtics outlasted the Charlotte Hornets in a potential first-round preview at TD Garden on Tuesday night, 113-102.
Boston overcame an early 11-point deficit and took control of the game during a dominant second half. Jaylen Brown led the effort with a team-high 35 points, while Jayson Tatum added 23 points.
LaMelo Ball scored a game-high 36 for Charlotte, but he was kept out of the scoring column in the fourth quarter.
The C’s will take a four-game win streak into Thursday night’s showdown with the New York Knicks.
