    Maeve Turner scored twice for her 147th and 148th career points, setting a new scoring record for Falmouth as it defeated Boston Latin 4-2 in the Lobster Pot Tournament championship.

    After Elise Musa (two goals) tied the game with 14 seconds left in regulation, Pope Francis gutted out a shootout win over Shrewsbury in the Newburyport Bank Classic championship behind Adalyn Murray’s goal and Avery Savage’s shutout in the shootout. The game counts as a 3-3 tie, extending the Cardinals’ unbeaten streak to five games. … In the consolation game, Kaelyn Modder and Maddie Cantor both had hat tricks as Norwell/Scituate/Abington took down Newburyport 8-2.

    Molly Whittier (two goals, assist) had a hand in all three goals Waltham used to top Belmont, 3-0, in a signature nonleague showing. … Kate Schneider’s hat trick with two goals led a well-balanced effort as Walpole used to down Ursuline 8-4. Ella Dacey and Kaylee Walsh each scored twice as well. … Erin McCabe’s 17-save shutout backed goals from Hadley Benson and Lucy Blaney to help Dedham (13-8) defeat Whitman-Hanson/Silver Lake 2-0.

    Sophia Luoni (29 saves) starred again in net with her ninth shutout this year, and Jordan Digiandomenico rewarded her with a goal to help Natick best Malden Catholic 1-0 in the Malden Catholic Showcase. … Rylee Middleton delivered a 25-save shutout, the penalty kill went 5-for-5, Kayla Cox and Payton Curran each scored, and defense flourished in the third to power Reading (13-2-4) past St. Mary’s (L) 2-0. The Rockets have now avenged both of their losses and will face Natick in the showcase championship Thursday at 4 p.m. … McKenzie Lima-Tower, Julie Murphy, Izzy O’Brien, and Aliya Greenwood each notched a goal as Archbishop Williams defeated Hingham 4-3.

    In nonleague play, Jacoby Patterson notched three points to reach 100 for his career as Shawsheen (17-2-1) won 6-4 over fellow Div. 3 threat Methuen. … Dan Reen, Brandon Brown and Michael Grenham each tallied a goal and an assist for Norwood (11-8-1) as it closed out the regular season with a 6-1 win over Bishop Fenwick. … Daniel Vaughn’s goal and two assists partnered with a pair of goals from Jack Pimental to lead West/East Bridgewater past Oakmont, 4-2. … Ben Nelson tallied a goal and an assist while Jesse Rich made 25 saves as Lincoln-Sudbury (13-7) upset St. John’s (S), 3-0.

    Liam Gagne recorded 24 saves and Billerica rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat Milton 3-2 in the first round of the Irish American Shootout.

    Cole Alexander scored and dished an assist to anchor St. Mary’s of Lynn in a 4-1 win over Central Catholic in the Cardinal Classic.
    Nicholas Buckland’s hat trick and game-winner in a shootout lifted Sandwich to the Jeff Hayes Memorial championship over North Reading. The game counts as a 3-3 tie in the MIAA power rankings. … Kellan Desley scored the eventual game-winner on a 5-on-3 power play early in the third, helping Dennis-Yarmouth stave off a vicious rally from Monomoy/Mashpee to secure a 5-4 win in the consolation game.     In the George Burke Invitational first round, Yhan Medina dropped 26 points as Quincy routed Durfee 78-53.

    Girls basketball

    Avery Gamble poured in 22 points, four steals and three rebounds while Maeve Horsman notched a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oliver Ames to the Spartan Classic title with a 54-47 win over Whitman-Hanson.

    In a Skaff Winterfest Tournament consolation game, Ava Manella scored 17 points and Rowan Murphy added 15 to lead Greater Lowell to a 63-48 victory over Lowell Catholic.

    Tajeaya Sterling netted 18 points while Skyla Coward added 15 as Durfee (16-4) defeated Silver Lake 57-44 in a nonleague matchup. … Ariana Demetri scored 15 points as North Reading (18-2) won 40-23 over Stoneham.

    In the Northeastern Conference, Angie Djoko finished with a double-double (18 points, 12 rebounds) as Danvers (19-1) defeated Revere, 50-36.
