If you didn’t stay up for the end of last night’s Red Sox game, I’m very jealous of you. A 90-minute rain delay, followed by a reliever who fully warmed up and then was told to sit back down hitting two hitters and surrendering the lead, is a tough way to lose a ballgame. Hopefully, Aroldis Chapman and Garrett Whitlock are feeling better tomorrow, so we don’t run into the same issue.

In other news, I caught a fly ball off my own chin last night in my softball game when I misjudged it and deflected off the top of my glove. The runner on first base astutely watched the ball hit my face and took off for second, assuming I wouldn’t have the wherewithal to continue on with the play. He got doubled off first base, and I somehow didn’t get a mark on my chin. That’s my story.

Use this thread to talk about whatever you want, like I just did. Be kind to one another, and go Sox.
