FOXBORO — Patriots defensive end Keion White has gone from starting to a healthy scratch.

White, who has started 18 games in three seasons with the Patriots, including 13 last season and one in 2025, is among the Patriots’ inactives Sunday against the Browns.

Here’s the full list of inactives:

QB Tommy DeVito (emergency third QB)
    DT Eric Gregory
    OL Caedan Wallace
    S Kyle Dugger (knee)
    OLB Caleb Murphy
    DE Keion White
    WR Efton Chism

    Notes:

    • DeVito can only enter Sunday’s game if Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs both suffer injuries. In the event that DeVito is called on, he would have to exit the game as soon as Maye or Dobbs are cleared from injury.

    • Gregory has yet to play a game this season after being claimed off waivers from the Bengals. The Patriots will continue to roll with Milton Williams, Christian Barmore, Khyiris Tonga, Joshua Farmer and Cory Durden at defensive tackle.

    • Wallace also has not made his season debut. Behing left tackle Will Campbell, left guard Jared Wilson, center Garrett Bradbury, right guard Mike Onwenu and right tackle Morgan Moses, tackles Vederian Lowe and Marcus Bryant and guard/center Ben Brown will serve as depth.

    • Dugger had been listed as questionable. There was an indication that he would not play when the Patriots elevated Richie Grant from the practice squad to the active roster. Grant started for two seasons for the Falcons after being selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

    • The Patriots also elevated running back Terrell Jennings to serve as depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and rookie TreVeyon Henderson.

    • Murphy was just claimed off waivers from the Chargers on Monday. It would have been a short turnaround to get him ready for this week’s matchup.

    • With White and Murphy both inactive, the Patriots will go with Harold Landry III, K’Lavon Chaisson, Anfernee Jennings and rookie Elijah Ponder at outside linebacker. Jennings has been a longtime starter for the Patriots but isn’t the greatest fit in head coach Mike Vrabel’s defense.

    • Chism goes back on the inactive list after being up for two straight games as a kick returner/backup wide receiver.

    • Former Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe will back up Brown starter Dillon Gabriel. Rookie Shedeur Sanders (back) is inactive. Tight end David Njoku is active after being listed as questionable.
