AUTUMN ALLEN
WHEELER
A two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, the junior became one of the top sprinters in New England this season. She defended her EIL titles in the 100, 200 and long jump before adding New England championships in the same events.
JULIA BAE
WINSOR
The senior completed a standout tennis career by being EIL MVP and was an all-New England selection for the third time in her career. She has earned a National Merit Scholarship and will attend Harvard this fall.
MAX BECKER
PINGREE
The senior goalie was named Player of the Year and All-American for a second time after a season that saw him make 232 saves while also having a goal and two assists. The Dartmouth-bound Becker ended his career with 741 saves.
JILLIAN BERGERON
GOVERNOR’S ACADEMY
The sophomore was the ISL Athlete of the Year in track. She was a New England champion individually in the 800 and anchored the 4×400 en route to a team title. Bergeron is also a standout in cross-country and in skiing.
SARAH BRODY
NEWTON COUNTRY DAY
The senior ended her career in the circle with a flourish with a 10-3 record and 221 strikeouts. Brody also batted .683 with five homers and 24 RBI. Brody is a two-time EIL Player of the Year and all-NEPSAC selection. A National Honor Society member, Brody will attend Tufts University.
MITCHELL CANUEL
PORTSMOUTH ABBEY
The senior shortstop/pitcher batted .444 with 14 stolen bases. He also was 6-1 with 53 strikeouts and a 1.33 ERA en route to EIL MVP honors. A three-time honor roll recipient, Canuel will attend Assumption.
MEGAN CLOHERTY
MONTROSE
The junior pitcher/first baseman was a league MVP and already has 150 career strikeouts. A varsity played since the eighth grade, Cloherty is a member of the National Honor Society. She also competes in indoor track.
OWEN CRANN
MIDDLESEX
The senior won about every accolade you could this season being named all-ISL, league MVP, all-NEPSAC and an All-American. Crann finished the season with 69 goals and 102 points. The Virginia-bound star holds the school record with 318 career points and will attend the University of Virginia.
ALEX DIAS
TABOR
The freshman played in the first singles and doubles spot this season and went undefeated while being named ISL MVP. Dias is also a member of the varsity cross country and squash teams.
RACHEL DUNN
MONTROSE
The senior attacker was named all-NEPSAC and Independent Girls Conference MVP. The National Honor Society member was the recipient of several academic awards. She will study business management and global affairs at Notre Dame.
MADELINE EGAN
BB&N
The senior standout was named MVP of the ISL after scoring 52 goals and adding 55 assists and 101 draw controls. A USA All-American selection, Egan ended her career with 302 goals, 169 assists and 490 draw controls. She will attend Dartmouth College.
JACKIE GIORDANO
BROOKS
The senior pitcher was ISL MVP after an 11-4 campaign that saw her have a miniscule 0.77 ERA and 187 strikeouts. Giordano won 38 of 50 career starts with 571 strikeouts and a 1.19 ERA. She will attend the University of Delaware.
JOSIAH GOMES
BELMONT HILL
The repeat All-Scholastic was the ISL champion in both the shot put and discus. The Virginia-bound star duplicated the feat at the NEPSTA Div. 1 championships, then took a sixth in the discus at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
AVERY HART
BB&N
The senior won her second ISL MVP after going undefeated this season in the 100-hurdles, long jump and triple jump. She set ISL records of 39-5 in the triple jump and 19-5 for the long jump. A standout volleyball player, Hart will attend University of California Berkeley.
LILY HEALD
DANA HALL
The sophomore midfielder had a stellar season, recording 116 goals and 23 assists with 95 draw controls en route to ISL MVP. She has already has 269 career goals in just three seasons. Heald is a standout soccer player as well.
REESE JENSEN
MILTON ACADEMY
The senior is the top-ranked junior golfer in New England and was named ISL MVP for a second time. Jensen took a second in the ISL championships and was a AJGA Rolex Junior Scholastic All-American 2024. He will attend Harvard in the fall.
CHASE JUDGE
MILTON ACADEMY
The senior was one of the top sprinters in New England this season, winning ISL MVP honors and being named all-ISL and NEPSAC. Judge holds career bests of 10.60 in the 100 and 21.85 in the 200. He’ll attend Brown University and play football.
LUKE LEBLOND
PINGREE
The sophomore played in the top singles spot for the Highlanders and was Eastern Independent League MVP for a second time. LeBlond is ranked among the top-15 tennis players in Massachusetts for his age group.
WATERS LLOYD
PINGREE
The senior midfielder had 64 goals and 96 points along with 64 draw controls to earn all-NEPSAC honors. Waters finished her career with 232 goals, 320 points and 224 draw controls. The high honor roll student will play lacrosse at Vanderbilt.
HENRY MARCHIONNI
BOSTON TRINITY
The junior had a .438 average with a .536 slugging percentage and a 1.126 OPS. Marchionni is an honor roll student and should be one of the top baseball players in the state next year.

CHAPEL HILL CHAUNCY HILL
A junior goaltender, Martinez had 207 saves this season and was named MBIL MVP. Martinez holds a 3.67 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also captain of the boys soccer team.
CAROLINE MCCULLOUGH
NOBLE AND GREENOUGH
The Duke-bound senior capped her career with 20 goals and 38 points in being named Defensive MVP of the ISL. An all-American and all-NEPSAC choice, McCullough also was a league champion in soccer along with being a Highest Academic Distinction student.

GANN
The junior led the Gann ultimate team to a third straight league title and was selected as All-League and MVP. Neiger is a part of three MBIL titles and his team is 31-5 over that time frame.
COLE OBERG
ROXBURY LATIN
Oberg was a combined 43-1 in first singles and doubles this season. Named ISL MVP and all-NEPSAC. He’s got 119 career wins as his team won three league and two NEPSAC titles. He also played hockey and will attend Brown University.

LAWRENCE ACADEMY
The senior right-handed pitcher was MVP of the ISL after he went 6-1 with 63 strikeouts in 37 1/3 innings and an ERA of 1.12. For his career, Paone is 11-1 with a 2.26 ERA and 166 strikeouts in 105 innings. The All-NEPSAC selection will attend Virginia.

COVENANT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Just an eighth grader, Parsons was league and team MVP after excelling at third base and pitcher. She also batted .600 and had 67 strikeouts in 33 innings.

BERWICK
The junior had 44 goals and 78 points from his attack position and was all-EIL and NEPSAC. Perkins has amassed 124 goals and 209 points in three seasons. He is also a standout golfer and National Latin Society member.

ROXBURY LATIN
The senior was co-MVP of the ISL after batting .545 with 15 RBIs, 15 runs scored and 14 stolen bases. A three-time all-NEPSAC selection, Pender was captain of the hockey team. He will play baseball at Tufts.

NEWMAN
A two-time Herald All-Scholastic, Shulman was named the MVP of the IGC once again. A two-time New England sectional champion, Shulman will play tennis and major in mechanical engineering at Bucknell.

PORTSMOUTH ABBEY
The sophomore was EIL champion in the 110-hurdles and was second in the 300 hurdles and long jump. Named the league’s male Track Athlete of the Year, the National Honor Society member also plays football and basketball.

The freshman lost only three games all season in going undefeated. He was team MVP as well as for the MBIL. Vaidya was a gold medal winner in the Brookline Music School piano competition.
