The question of whether Ceddanne Rafaela or Pete Crowe-Armstrong is the best outfielder in baseball could turn into one of the most fun debates of the next decade (and save some room for Denzel Clarke in that discussion). But PCA thinks the answer is clear. “I love watching him play center field. I think he’s the best in the game,” he said, adding that he thinks the Platinum Glove should have gone to Ceddy, not Bobby Witt, Jr. (Chris Cotillo, MassLive)

But PCA wasn’t the only opposing player giving props to one of his Red Sox rivals. After topping him for the American League Cy Young Award, Tarik Skubal said that Garrett Crochet arguably has the best stuff in the game. (Chris Mason, MassLive)

And since this is Talk About How Awesome the Red Sox Are Sunday, let’s hear from club legend David Ortiz about future club legend Roman Anthony: “It’s like I told [Anthony], anything you need, any conversation you want to have about being a lefthanded batter, just let me know. Just holler at your boy. He looks like a stud.” (Peter Abraham, Alex Speier, Boston Globe)

But what position will Roman Anthony play next season? That’s still very much an open question given the logjam in the outfield. Like most Sox fans, I assume the field will be cleared via trade, and that Jarren Duran is the most likely name to be on the move (but then again, that’s what I assumed last offseason, too). But what are the most likely destinations for him? (Conor Roche, Boston.com)

Even if one of Duran, Rafaela, or Wilyer Abreu gets traded to make room for Anthony, there’s another name that’s going to enter the outfield conversation: Kristian Campbell. After failing spectacularly as a big league second baseman and then bouncing all over the diamond in AAA, the Sox sound committed to leaving Campbell in the outfield, and he may spend some time playing winter ball to get used to it. (Alex Speier, Boston Globe)
