The shocking Red Sox resurgence has happened nearly entirely on or near the East Coast; that changes tonight, in Sacramento, where the Sox will face the A’s behind Payton Tolle. I’m not being hyperbolic to say that this trip is the Sox’s everything; while this year will always be known for The Streak, the ability to hit the road in the dog days and come back stronger is what powered the 2004 team (for example). It’s time for the Sox to win the games they’re supposed to win. I gotta good feeling, folks. Curtis Mead is batting second. Let’s get this.
I suppose thinking I’d find the A’s lineup on BlueSky was a bad idea. It’s okay, I’ve got plenty of those.
