Marco Sturm tweaked his lineup as the Bruins face another major test against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night at Ball Arena (9 pm). While Sturm said that Hampus Lindholm (lower body) is a game-time decision, he shuffled the forward lines. John Beecher will make his season debut on the fourth line and Jeffrey Viel will come out of the lineup. He kept Pavel Zacha on the first line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak, which finished the game in Vegas together. Morgan Geekie dropped to a second line with Casey Mittelstadt and Mikey Eyssimont. Viktor Arvidsson, still looking for…

The Boston Bruins could soon be getting star defenseman Hampus Lindholm back in the lineup. Lindholm has missed the Bruins’ last three games due to a lower-body injury. The coach called Lindholm a true game-time decision on Saturday. “It’s still going to be a game-time decision, but he definitely looks better today,” Sturm said to reporters on Saturday. “I would say yes, but we will decide right before (the game).” Lindholm was on the second power-play unit during…

The Red Sox bullpen took a big step forward in 2025, posting a 3.41 ERA that ranked second in MLB behind only the San Diego Padres. But how did each reliever fare individually? Today we conclude our report card series by handing out grades for the relievers. Aroldis Chapman: A+ Even at age 37 Chapman remained among the hardest throwers in baseball, hitting 103 mph on the radar gun while routinely overpowering opposing hitters. Drake Maye spilled the beans. Just a little, anyway. In a press conference Wednesday, Maye began to share what Mike Vrabel told players this week about the buzz surrounding his return to Tennessee. Ignore the noise was his short answer. But then, Maye kept going. “It’s a challenge for us to go keep proving it week in and week out. That’s been our main focus,” he said. “Keep going, ignore the noise and know that if we keep playing like this, we’ll have a real shot once the playoffs come, But that’s a long way away, so just attack it…

LOWELL – In a massive Merrimack Valley Conference game, Lowell defeated Billerica in comeback fashion with a wild 22-20 win at Cawley Stadium. Lowell quarterback Seth Ly led an 80-yard drive in the final two minutes to pick up the exciting win after going down 20-16 late in the quarter. New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has quickly become one of the standout stories of the NFL season. In his second year, Maye has shown poise in the pocket, linking up with his top receivers, Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte. However, the rest of the receiving corps produces significantly less output beyond these two, which poses challenges moving forward. If the Patriots truly want to contend for the Super Bowl this season, they will likely need to trade for another receiver. Former NFL receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh believes that Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown would be a fantastic option. “Ship him…
