Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday morning that he anticipates Will Campbell will miss multiple weeks with a knee injury suffered in Week 12.

Campbell, the Patriots’ top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, was helped to the sideline after injuring his knee in the second half of the 26-20 win over the Bengals. He was then carted from the sideline to the locker room after being inspected by team trainers in the Patriots’ medical tent.

“We won’t know much,” Vrabel said Monday morning on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show.” “Yesterday was not a great day for us with injuries. There will be some players that went out of that game yesterday that won’t be available Monday night. Hopefully we get some of those guys back. We have an extra day. I won’t be able to tell you much.

“I wouldn’t imagine that Will is going play in the game. I don’t think that will be something that will happen. That injury is going to probably be more than a week or two.”

Vrabel was asked a follow-up on if Campbell suffered a sprain.

“I think you have to understand sprains have different severities,” Vrabel said. “So, sprain, strain, not sure. But I just know he’s probably not going to be there Monday night, and I don’t think it’s going to be something that’s going to keep him out — this is not career ending. But I wouldn’t anticipate him being out there Monday night.”

The Patriots play the Giants next week at home on “Monday Night Football” before their bye week. They then face off against the Bills and Ravens.

They’ll already be without one of their best defenders, defensive tackle Milton Williams, for that stretch.

Vederian Lowe filled in for Campbell on Sunday. Rookie left guard Jared Wilson also injured his ankle on Sunday and was replaced by Ben Brown. He was spotted in the locker room with a walking boot on his right foot, walking with a crutch.

The Patriots are riding a nine-game winning streak with the NFL’s best record at 10-2.
