New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is seemingly in good shape heading into Super Bowl LX.

Maye, who suffered a shoulder injury during his club’s victory over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship, inspired some confidence during his media availability during Super Bowl Opening Night on Monday.

Mike Vrabel was pleased with how it responded following practice. Ashton Grant, who works more closely with the quarterback than perhaps anyone, said he “has no concerns” regarding the injury impacting the Super Bowl.

NFL Media’s Scott Hanson seemingly missed all those updates, because he asked the sophomore signal-caller how he was feeling on stage in front of a pretty large crowd — drawing an annoyed response:

    Hanson: “How’s the shoulder?”
    Maye: “Feeling great.”

    Hanson: “100%?”
    Maye: “Feeling great.”

Maye didn’t seem thrilled that he was asked about the injury twice, especially after the person asking him acknowledged how annoying it was to answer as many as he did at the podium just minutes prior.

Maye luckily won’t have to deal with any more questions until either Wednesday or Thursday.

The Patriots will then do battle with the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, with kickoff at Levi’s Stadium scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
