FOXBORO — The Patriots signed cornerback Kobee Minor to the 53-man roster on Thursday.
In a corresponding move, the team added cornerback Miles Battle and center Brenden Jaimes to the practice squad. They were waived on Tuesday and cleared waivers on Wednesday.
Minor, Mr. Irrelevant as the final pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has spent this season on the practice squad but has appeared in three games, registering one tackle.
On Wednesday, the Patriots also signed tight end Marshall Lang to the practice squad and released running back Jashaun Corbin.
Minor fills a 52nd spot on the 53-man roster, meaning the team will need to make additional moves in order to activate offensive tackle Will Campbell, defensive tackle Milton Williams and cornerback Alex Austin from injured reserve.
They would need to be activated on Saturday at 4 p.m. in order to play Sunday against the Dolphins.
