Besides the trade deadline and Jarren Duran’s current mood, there are other important things to keep an eye on tonight. To wit, Willson Contreras, who is following concussion protocols after getting hit on the helmet last night. And as the calendar turns to August, there’s also the little matter of if the Red Sox will continue their winning ways. July was stellar; can they keep it up?
And what about how Payton Tolle’s workload will be managed as we barrel toward the end of the season? He’s starting tonight and that promises a good time. Here we go.
