The New England Patriots offense struggled during the AFC Championship against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

New England managed only 10 points, with seven of those coming from a red-zone opportunity after a Broncos turnover. It didn’t help that it started snowing and got windy in the second half, making it difficult to throw the ball and gain traction with the running backs.

The Patriots will be competing in the Super Bowl at an outdoor stadium in Santa Clara. As long as it doesn’t rain, the weather should provide good playing conditions. Running back TreVeyon Henderson hopes to see the offense gain more momentum during the Super Bowl.

“Yeah, I hope so,” Henderson said on Tuesday, via WEEI’s Tom Carroll. “It’s gonna be good to get away from the cold weather, the snow for a little bit. Honestly, we’ve embraced that type of weather, but it will be good for us.”

Henderson didn’t have the best performance against the Broncos, managing to carry the ball three times for five yards. Henderson is going to need to play better, along with the rest of New England’s offense, if it wants to take down a tough Seattle Seahawks defense.
